Your representative student forum.
Student Parliament is the sovereign decision making body of the Students’ Union. Its members are the part-time elected leaders that are elected in October, plus the two Co-Presidents.
Its membership consists of:
Meetings happen at least three times a year, typically in November, February and April. They are led by an elected Student Chair, with operational support from SU staff.
The meetings discuss important topics that are affecting the student body at that time, and how the Students’ Union can support the student body. They also have oversight of any new or updated policies or procedures, and provide input into any changes that affect students.
Any ULaw student, even non-members of Student Parliament, are welcome to put forward a topic or new policy for discussion. If you would like more information on how to do this, please contact studentsunion@law.ac.uk.
Voting for the 2025-2026 representative elections is open until Midday, Friday 10th October! Decide who your next student parliament will be, and play an active role in shaping our community. Read more here.
