Who can I vote for?

We have over 100 candidates and nearly 40 roles to vote for. You only need to vote for the students that will be representing you!

  • Campus Vice-Presidents – Vote for the rep for your campus.
  • Programme Reps - You should only vote for the Programme Rep for your area of study.
  • Equalities Officers -  Whilst all students can vote for these roles, you should only vote for equalities officers who represent your identity. For example please only vote for Disabled students' officer if you have a disability.
  • International Student Reps - You should only vote for these roles if you are an international student.

Who should I vote for?

Every candidate who has nominated themselves for the election has supplied a manifesto to help you decide who to vote for. A manifesto should tell you a little bit about the person, and what they hope to achieve if they're elected. Whilst they can be a long read for roles with lots of candidates, it's well worth taking the time to read about their ideas and decide who best represents you.

You can read these manifestos on the ballot paper, or download the booklets below that contains all of them in one place.

For a lighter touch. you can also check out the candidates campaign posters!

Why should I vote?

We truly believe all students (especially in a university that specialises in law, policy and politics) should vote, but why?

  • As more and more students take part in voting, our representatives receive increased recognition as the 'voice of students' at ULaw
  • By voting for the candidate that best represents you, you can be confident in trusting the SU to work on your behalf

Still need convincing? To encourage as many students as possible to have their say, we're giving out £1000 of vouchers in daily prize draws

We're also donating £1 for every student that votes to a charity that will be decided by the very reps you elect!
