1st Stage: Campus Panels

Campus panels are formed from three people; at least one lecturer and at least one external business expert. The top 5 entries from each campus will be invited to their local panel for the week of 25th May.

You will have five minutes to present your business idea, followed by questions from the panel.

One winner from each campus will be chosen, who will progress to the final on 13th June. Campus winners will be informed by Monday 1st June.

2nd Stage: Final Panel

The Final will be taking place as part of the Shaping the Future: Business, Law and Society conference in Birmingham on 13th June, with travel costs covered by The Students’ Union.

You will present to student conference attendees and two ‘angel investors’. Questions will be asked as part of the panel.

The winner of the final will receive the following from our Angel Investors:

  • Structured mentorship on business development and growth
  • Guidance on business setup, including registration and compliance
  • Practical support on structuring and scaling their ideas
  • Meaningful value as you develop your venture

Our ‘Angel Investors’ are from the I2BS Project CIC management team – a project originally founded by our own ULaw Graduates!

The runner-up will also receive a 90 day business advisory support package, provided by Elinth Group Limited.
