Description

 

Students come to ULaw to study, but the students often spend time studying and briefly interacting with other students. They don't have a chance to interact more deeply and meaningfully with other students about their life experiences and their stories before coming to ULaw.

 

These stories are the greatest asset and treasure to our ULaw society. Diversity in ULaw society aims at promoting an exchange of different experiences and stories with other students. It encourages cross-fertilisation of ideas from people coming from different legal systems by interviewing students from different backgrounds and sharing it as a podcast and having a Youtube channel for the society where students can share their stories. We plan to interview 2-3 students each month. These podcasts and the YouTube channel will benefit not only the interviewee by creating a valuable memory but will benefit the ULaw society, including current and future ULaw students.

 

The society also plans to hold talks and webinars on various events on topics like Employment Law, Human Rights and promote the development of soft skills through networking events.
