Description

The Three aims of our Society are to:

1. Practice advocacy in an informal and comfortable setting, for all abilities.
2. Build confidence in all aspects of speaking, suited for both aspiring solicitors and barristers.
3. To prepare for upcoming interviews and mooting competitions.

Our group is for law conversion students aspiring to become barristers, solicitors, or anything else, offering a welcoming environment for anyone who wants to build their confidence in speaking and articulating their ideas outside of high-pressure settings.

Our primary goal is to provide a comfortable and encouraging space to practice advocacy without the stress of formal mooting or competition. We hope to plan practice sessions, peer feedback exercises, and focused sessions to help members prepare for pupillage interviews.

All of our activities will take place on the Birmingham campus. To best accommodate our members' intensive schedules, our meetings will be scheduled flexibly, varying between weekly and fortnightly sessions depending on the group's demand.
