The Students’ Union are excited to be running a coach trip from London to Oxford on Saturday 20th December for students and their family and friends.
How Will It Work?
The private coach will leave the London Bloomsbury (Store Street, WC1E 7DE) campus at 8am on Saturday 20th December.
It will arrive at Oxford Train Station at approximately 10:15am. The time that you spend in Oxford is yours to decide how you spend it.
The coach will then leave Oxford Train Station at 6:00pm, arriving back at the London Bloomsbury campus at around 8:15pm.
The coach will not make stops along the way and it is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you are at the correct location for the coach to leave. The coach will not wait for you and you will be responsible for making your own way home if you miss it.
All students are welcome, not just Bloomsbury students – we have just chosen Bloomsbury as a pick up / drop off location.
Cost of the Trip
The trip is heavily subsidised by the Students’ Union. The cost to you is just £7.
This is significantly cheaper than the cheapest train travel, and the private coach means you don’t need to worry about train delays
Creating Communities
Anyone who registers for the trip will be given access to an MS Teams group, where you can chat with others who are attending and potentially make plans to meet new people. Joining the Teams group is completely optional.
Capacity and +1s
There is limited capacity on the coach and this trip is open to approximately 5,000 students studying across London, so buy your tickets sooner than later to avoid disappointment. We welcome family, friends and children aged 8+, as long as they are attending with you. External guests (children and adults) remain your responsibility whilst on the coach.
