November

 

Hey, I am back with the next monthly updates, this time for November. Here is a summary of what I have been doing to represent your voice in the month of November.

 

• Attending the Union of Jewish Students Anti-Semetism Awareness Training.

• Hosting a dinner with all newly elected representatives and help manage and participate in the Representative Training Weekend

• Attend the November Graduation Ceremonies as a member of the Platform Party

• Attending the Co-President Accountability Panel

• TEDx University of Manchester Conference happened this month with the help of the InspireX Northern society

• Attended a meeting in Westminster (APPG) regarding Students and Work with sabbatical officers from other SUs.

• Attending Various Committee Meetings including a SU Democracy Review Meeting with Gary Knight, Meeting with WonkHE and staff on the Bloomsbury campus

• Got accepted to become an ambassador for the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) and to be a member of their Advisory Board!
