Hello! I have curated a list of apps that may be useful to you, which some class reps kindly circulated during 2023.

Do pick out any apps that you find useful. The apps are available for iOS and Android.

Organisation Notion Notion allows you to manage tasks, track projects, and create to-do lists. You can create different pages.
Organisation Google Keep Google Keep allows you to add notes, lists, audio, and photos all in one place.
Organisation Cozi Family Organiser This app is a family organiser which colour codes each person in the family and lets you track activities.
Organisation TickTick TickTick is a task management and to-do list app. It lets you create shopping lists, agendas, and collaborate.
Organisation Famcal Famcal is an app which collates family schedules into one calendar.
Organisation Todoist For creating quick and effective general to-do lists as well as up to 5 projects (more in paid version), each containing its own to-do list. A 'forthcoming' view presents a calendar-like view of all to-do lists from the general to-do list and projects.
Thoughts and Emotions MindDoc MindDoc helps you to identify your thoughts and feelings and to recognise patterns.
Thoughts and Emotions Kinder World Kinder World helps you to look after your mental health through looking after virtual plants.
Thoughts and Emotions How We Feel This app helps you track your emotions, spot trends, and use coping strategies to regulate.
Thoughts and Emotions Moodnotes This app is a mood tracker and journaling app. It helps you to identify thinking traps.
Thoughts and Emotions Daylio This app offers a self-care bullet journal with goals without having to type.
Organisation Structured This app splits the day into small tasks with icons to get a visual timeline of the day.
Studying Study Bunny This app gives you a virtual study bunny and by studying you earn coins to buy items for your bunny.
Studying Forest: Focus for Productivity This app encourages you to put down your phone so that a tree can grow whilst you study.
Studying Flora Grow flowers using the Pomodoro technique.
Studying Goodnotes Stores reading materials.
Studying Dark Reader Extension Turns websites into dark mode.
Studying iOS Camera App or Microsoft Lens Hover over text and the camera will know there is text in front of it and digitise it – you can then copy and paste this text into your favourite app, have it read aloud to you, translate into a different language, etc.
Studying Reader View Improves readability for Chrome/Microsoft Edge.
Studying Otter AI Dictation software that, unlike Dragon, needs no commands and in which text can be dictated effortlessly. It's brilliant to capture lectures, interviews, meetings. You can listen to the script, edit it, and export it to Word through a clipboard. There is a paid version but the free version gives you 300 minutes a month.
Studying Anki Flashcard Creates different types of flashcards and adapts revision to user's feedback about how hard they find the questions.
Meditation and Relaxation Calm Offers meditations, sleep stories, and soothing sounds.
Meditation and Relaxation Insight Timer Free premium membership via Students’ Union. Offers guided meditation and calming music.
Meditation and Relaxation Headspace Get guided meditations, courses, and mindfulness exercises. Subscription service.
Thoughts and Emotions Worrydolls Worrydolls gives you a small doll who is ready to listen to what is worrying you. Tell your worry to the doll then track it over time.
Thoughts and Emotions Aloe Bud Aloe Bud brings awareness to activities-of-daily-life by sending encouraging push notifications, check-ins, and reflections. Reminders from yourself to your future self.
Organisation Focus Keeper This app uses the Pomodoro method to help with focus and productivity.
Mindfulness and Relaxation Void Pet This app encourages you to take care of yourself and your emotions through looking after virtual pets.
Relaxation Fidget Widget Stress reliever with haptic feedback for fidgets.
Relaxation Heat Pad This app creates images when you doodle for relaxing.
Relaxation Fluid Simulation This app simulates liquid, gas, and water to create pretty patterns.
Relaxation This is Sand Watch and listen to sand piling into layers at the bottom of your screen for relaxation.
Relaxation Triple A Watch and play with geometric shapes for relaxation.
ULaw App ULaw Wellbeing ULaw Wellbeing provides information and access to ULaw support services at your campus as well as local and national support organisations and practical wellbeing tools and resources.
ULaw App TogetherAll TogetherAll is a safe, anonymous space to access peer support, practical wellbeing tools, and resources.
ULaw App Spectrum.Life Spectrum Life provides 24/7/365 in-the-moment support from accredited professionals in 35+ languages, up to 6 sessions of counselling, live mental health events, digital gym classes, and discounts on major brands. The support line is also available by phone, text, and WhatsApp.

Other

Office365 is available to all University of Law students (for free).
